Printmaking Artist Sarah Kriehn
Printmaker Sarah Kriehn creates one-of-a-kind Monotypes and Collagraphs. Her engaging abstract prints depict her reaction to experiences and emotions resulting from particular events and locations. The message she strives to convey is diverse, yet consistent. Her compositions are bound together by a powerful sense of color and natural rhythm. She utilizes a personal visual vocabulary comprised of organic and geometric forms.

An Arizona native, Sarah is a graduate from Arizona State University. Prior to becoming a professional artist, Sarah was an art teacher in Phoenix. During that time, she earned the Arizona Elementary Art Teacher of the Year Award. She is the recipient of an Artist Career Development Grant, from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture and the Arizona Commission on the Arts. She is currently serving on the Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture Commission Board.

Her work has been extensively exhibited and is in numerous collections including: Mayo Clinic, University of Arizona Medical School, Larson Associates Architects, University Club of Phoenix, Arizona Humanities Council and Sam Fox School of Design at Washington University, St. Louis.
